Registration for Feminism in London 2010Registration for Feminism in London 2010 (which is on Saturday 23 October) is racing ahead and several of the workshops are now full. Don't despair though because not all are full and we have a fantastic programme going on in the main hall alongside the workshops, so there will be plenty for all. Workshops for 12-18 year oldsWe are running workshops for 12-18 year olds in both the morning and the afternoon workshop sessions. You can book a place on one of the workshops using the normal online system. Tickets for Feminism in London 2010After you register online, you will get sent two confirmation email - one confirms the financial transaction for your records and the other confirms the booking for the event. Please keep the event confirmation email, print it out and bring it with you - this will save time on the day. (If you've don't have it, you will still be able to get in but will need to queue up to get ticked off the list.) Please note that we are not sending out tickets in the post.

Pre-release screening of "Made in Dagenham" and discussion, 6pm Wednesday 29 SeptemberCinema 1, Barbican Centre Nearest tube: Barbican, Moorgate, St Pauls, Liverpool Street This is a fantastic film about the strikes by women sewing machinists at the Ford Dagenham plant in 1968. They brought production to a standstill and their campaign compelled parliament to introduce the 1970 Equal Pay Act. This event is a collaboration between the Barbican Centre, Feminism in London, The Women's Library and the TUC Library Collections.
